Liezl was admitted as an attorney in 2011 and has since practised exclusively in the field of Environmental Health and Safety.
Her expertise includes SHE System Development, SHE legal compliance audits, SHE legal opinions and advice, Administrative Processes and Litigation in SHE related matters as well as SHE Legal Training.
Liezl’s client field includes the heavy industrial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, tobacco, construction, transport, food, agriculture, chemical, entertainment, tourism, waste management and mining industries.
Before deciding to become a lawyer Liezl quickly found a passion for the legal field by gaining experience from working in various legal departments at several companies. With a mind set to further her career in the legal field, Liezl enrolled at UNISA to obtain her LLB and completed her articles at Cameron Cross Inc. under the mentorship of Melissa Grobbelaar and James Cross. Thereafter, she spent some time consulting on, and developing SHE-related and Wellness Management Systems for the Construction Industry before settling as the Head of Legal at Green Gain Consulting.
In 2018 Liezl set a new course, opening her own lawl firm that practised exclusively in the fields of Environmental Health and Safety Law. Liezl joined Tabacks as a Director in March 2019.
